What are Street Interviews?

Street Interviews are urfuture's signature content formats, designed to help employers showcase their brand in an authentic and engaging way. Our team visits ur workplace or a chosen location and films short, conversational interviews with ur employees. The content is then professionally edited and shared across urfuture's social channels to help raise awareness of ur organisation and attract young talent. Street Interviews are designed to feel natural, relatable and engaging, giving potential candidates a genuine insight into ur people and workplace culture.

What they are

Street Interviews are urfuture's signature content format. Our social team films short, conversational interviews with ur employees, either at your workplace or at a location of ur choosing. The footage is professionally edited and published across urfuture's channels to raise awareness of your organisation and put you in front of young talent.
The format is deliberately social-first. It is built to look like the content Gen Z already watch, not like recruitment advertising.

Why they work
Candidates want to see the people behind an organisation before they apply. Street Interviews give them that.

For your organisation

  • Employer brand awareness with an audience of young job seekers
  • A genuine look at ur workplace culture
  • Visibility for ur career paths and entry routes
  • Trust built through ur own employees rather than corporate messaging
  • Direct interest in ur live vacancies

For candidates

  • They hear from people actually doing the job, not from a job ad
  • They understand what the day to day really looks like
  • They feel confident enough to apply

Authentic employee stories consistently outperform traditional recruitment advertising.

What happens on the day

A member of the urfuture social team runs each interview and keeps the conversation relaxed and informal. Topics typically include:

  • What they do day to day
  • How they got into the role
  • Salary and earnings, where you have agreed to include it
  • What they enjoy most about the job
  • Progression and where the role can lead
  • Workplace culture
  • Advice for someone starting their career

Each interview takes a few minutes per person. We share the question list with you in advance, but we do not script answers. Natural responses are what make the format work.

What we need from you:
  • Any employees willing to take part, ideally a mix of early careers and experienced staff
  • A quiet, well-lit space to film, indoors or outdoors
  • One point of contact on the day
  • A signed media release form from every participant (we provide these in advance)
  • 10 working days' notice to schedule the shoot

What you get

  • 6 edited Street Interview videos as standard on a Paid Activation campaign
  • Delivery within 10 working days of filming
  • Full-resolution files supplied to you for use on your own channels

Where the content is shared

  • urfuture TikTok
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Snapchat
  • The urfuture app

FAQs

Who asks the questions? A member of the urfuture social team. They guide each conversation and keep it informal.
Do employees need to prepare answers? No. We send the questions ahead of time so nobody is caught out, but we ask people to answer naturally rather than rehearse.
Do we have to include salary? No. Salary is one of the highest-performing topics with a Gen Z audience, so we recommend it, but it is your call and we agree it before filming.
Can we review the content before it is published? Yes. Edited content is sent to you for approval, with 10 working days to review.
Can Street Interviews promote current vacancies? Yes. They work best alongside a live recruitment campaign, with the content driving applications directly.
What if an employee changes their mind? Anyone can withdraw before publication and we will remove their contribution.
